MCN Motorcycle Show

Hey guys!

Who’s keen to hit this?

I’ve been told this is the best spot to buy gear from and check out some cool bikes!

Let me know, hopefully get a good squad together.

The London show is OK, but don’t expect any better deals than you can find On-Line, the shows used to be the place to get fantastic offers but the Internet has killed that off now.

The Girls are pretty Hot though so every cloud

I’ll be going as it’s only 20 mins up the road to me but i rarely buy from the London show, but its a good place to try stuff on and get an idea of sizes etc then fnd the deals on-line.

I’m going mainly to ogle the bikes, then the gear, then maybe the ladies. Took the friday off work as it’s valentines “weekend” and i’m not allowed to spend any time with my true love during that time.

@Marmablade - thanks for the info dude.

When are you guys going?

Probably on the Saturday

@Marmablade Awesome - lets see if we get any more responses otherwise I’d book a ticket for Saturday!

Probably be heading down again. The Friday is an teacher training day for mys kids school, so I need to take day off to look after them anyway. The kids usually enjoy it for a couple of hours, frantically trying to sit on all the bikes, worrying stand staff and pissing off other bikers who are genuinely interested in buying the new bikes…

I’d be interested in this, but I don’t have my rota yet. If we can get a few people together on Sat, might be worth buying a group ticket.

Love to but clashes with my ski trip

I’m going Friday as its my day off and get student discount

Ok so we have 3 for Saturday and 2 for Friday… Keep em coming!

@Von - how many are needed for a group ticket?

Not attending this year … becoming bored of the event.

If it wasn't so close then i would have to agree, but as it's so close it's a day out to look at bikes so i still go. But completely agree with the sentiment, it isn't anywhere near as good as the NEC show (or even the Old Ally Pally Show)

I’ve been once and didn’t think that much of it. Maybe I’m getting misty eyed but it feels like the shows aren’t what they used to be. In the mid 00s the NEC show seemed much bigger and more lively. There used to be more seminars and things too. Oh the good old days.

lol, Showing your Age

Last year’s London show had obvious gaps where it’s like they were hoping for bigger or more stands, but nobody turned up. Seemed a bit weird to just leave them be rather than jiggle stuff about into them.

I’ll probably be going on the Saturday for a bit at least

the year before was worse when Suzuki didn't even have a Stand, not even a Suzuki specialist showed!

The Ally Pally show was Huge in its Day, both sides off the exhibition centre were used, there was stunt shows and interactive displays. i think the London Show has potential but should really be held in the summer

Ok team seems like Saturday is the day so far… Will give it till later tonight to let others submit

Jax- we need 6 or more to get a group ticket. Knocks £1.50 off per ticket and the transaction fee would be on one transaction instead of 6 separate transactions. So basically more like £2.75 off…
