MASSIVE DIESEL SPILL - CHELSEA BRIDGE 1 MILE

About 1 mile long from clapham common through to sloane square along queenstown road past the chelsea pensioners place.

Was weird how both me and the bike ahead of me slipped around when I turned right onto queenstown road from silverthorne road, and there was a lot of traffic, tested the road with my foot at the traffic lights and it seemed slippy there as well, road looked wet as well.

Get to the traffic lights at Chelsea Bridge load of police and a couple of bikes that had come off under braking…I told the fire guy that they needed to put someone further back to warn people but he just said “Yeah I know it goes back a mile”…:doze:

I reckon a few more are going to come off on that right turn…

BE CAREFUL IF YOU RIDE THAT ROAD…

Cheers fella just about to take that route

I came off turning on to the South side of Chelsea bridge. Damaged my lovely new Fuji in the process. In the next few minutes I saw 2 other cyclists and a moped rider all fall. Lot’s of fire brigade standing around scratching their heads.

Dave.

Shocking amount on the road traffic is solid and it goes all the way to victoria station!

jeez, not been down this road today, normally do at least twice a week to and from work. It’s also slippy from the London Concrete lorries that over fill and spill their load going round corners.

Hope you are alright mate…looks like they might have cleared it up when I rode past it on the way home.
