Far be it from one drinking man to another to suggest I smell an oddity.
I just wonder if the whisky that had rolled to within reach was already in his hand when he fell over the sofa.
An Irish friend told of his being “saved” from injury when he fell down a long flight of stairs due to having a bottle of “Black Bush” in his hand at the time.
Apparently, trying to keep the bottle aloft and undamaged was what stopped him being “…maimed, killed or worse.”
I think Bear Grylls needs to do a full re-enactment of the incident. How funny would that be? :w00t:

It’s possibly true… I fell down some stairs a while back and think I was saved serious injury by the whiskey and beer I had consumed just prior to the accident…
