after 2 years and still no signs of hiv, thats a big wow there. and it says the man isnt on any drugs at all. is it too much to hope that that is the breakthrough the world has been waiting for? 2 years isnt long enough i dont think, but its one hell of a start.
yer I think it’s a defo result, but they were saying that it is unlikley it is completely gone as some types of HIV don’t attach to the replaced cells.
also saying that 1/3 of stem cell transfusion patients die!! don’t like those odds to be honest…

the verions of HIV that people are infected with is typically only one type…I dont think you generally see them infected with all the different types…but i am no expert for sure…
It is only a matter of time before we solve aids, we have to as there are more serious viruses coming and we have to be able to stop them…
Interesting to note that 1-3% of the white population have nhatural immunity…it would not kill us all off no matter what it did…very interesting…
