Watch the left hand side of the tyre at the devils elbow untill it has properly warmed up, You can always go round Gerrads quicker than you think, and the braking zone for the hairpin is very bumpy and can be damp under the trees.
Don’t be afraid to go wide around Gerrards if people are holding you up hugging the tight line, but remember that you’ll have to tighten up towards the end of the bend.
The uphill right then left is brilliant and my favourite piece of the track…Just straight line the right and set up for the left…Use the change in tarmac colour as a braking marker for the hairpin.
This hairpin (bus stop) is off camber so go in low towards the bottom (right hand side of track) (there is a shop or something near the top) (I came off here…ouch )
So far Mallory is my favourite circuit…Short, twisty and easy to learn and 600s have a better advantage than larger capacity bikes.
