Just watching about the SAS and the iranian embassy siege. Can you imagine if that happened today? DC and his cronies would give the bad guys council houses and a life on benefits instead of the wrong end of a 9mm that Maggie served up!
Yeah I’m all about having a laugh and very little is off limits for me, but the people buying this tune to make a point would be better off taking their 79p and giving it to a worthwhile charity.

lets go back to 79 when she came to power…you couldn’t even bury the dead due to strikes…she stood up to them and Europe, also had a huge part in ending the cold war with the Ruskies
why is nobody blaming the unions for wrecking the country…jeez at Vauxhall if someone farted out of turn it was “down tools all out”
even as late as 86 there were closed shops in companies if you didn’t join you didn’t work…unions for democracy yeah right lining there own pockets

Steve - in my opinion the unions are as much political entities that got as power crazy as maggie was. I do apportion significant blame to them. The thing is, I doubt there will be the out-poor of public emotion when Scargill dies or the romantiscising that there has been with Thatcher… particularly in the media.
