Made in Chelsea Sunday 9th of September

Made in Chelsea

This ride out is weather permitting (naturally). I’ll post on Saturday 8th of September if we are on.

Rondezvous at my Cafe “Cafe Forum” 146 Gloucester Road. SW7 4SZ

Departing at 09:30 sharp. Arrive at 08:30 for coffee and crossants (naturally). English breakfast is also available.

Full tanks please, get some VPower (naturally) beforehand at the local Shell which has Pay at the Pump.

The ride will be between 200 and 300 miles at a steady pace occasionally dropping the hammer.

We may using the corner man system depending on magnitude of the delegation. The cornerman system is explained here.

Will involve some motorway so no 125s.

No bunglers (naturally), if you ride like a bungler do not be offeneded if you are asked to leave.

I’m clumsy (looked up the bungler definition  ) so I’m out  Also I only have one hammer so if I drop it I would be a little lost. But for future reference would it be suitable for new to big bikes rider?

Were an inclusive group, so long you are confident overtaking caravans you’ll be fine.

Oh bungler in this context is interchangable with nobber, as this is Made in Chelsea I’ve hit the thesarus for some long words. It describes someone who rides irresponsibly and compromises the safety and enjoyment of the group.

George don’t put yourself down you did a good job last Sunday!

I’m on Asbo’s reserve list, if I can’t get on that one i’ll join you guys;)

I’m supposed to be doing the Brighton Burnout from the Ace - but I’ve been wanting to do a Joby rideout for ages, so I’m ditching the boring straight road convoy on the Vulcan for a more discerning bunch and what I expect will be a much more interesting route! Count me in! :Wow:

Last day of the lympics so can’t make this one, roll on the closing ceremony.

May well be up for this:) will know later in the week;)

Excellent stuff Joby:D, I didn’t fancy the Ace run, been busy last couple of Sundays

George, congrats on the new bike:D, you’ll be alright, just ride at your own pace

Yeah! go for it George:) we all had to start somewhere:cool: and what I hear is that you behave yourself;):w00t:

Well most of the time, hey George? :stuck_out_tongue:

Haha yeah  Well it does sounds tempting, although I already said I’d go to Duxford with Tom and I wanted to see 15,000 bikes at Ace so difficult decisions!

Really hoping that this goes ahead on Sunday - not ready for an ASBO ride yet:w00t:, not really up for getting stuck behind 15,000 bikes on the way to Brighton and don’t do airshows/ staring at machines in big sheds etc - so really relying on you to provide the entertainment Joby!! Who else is a definite?

Oh you’re really picky :stuck_out_tongue: Yeah no one wants to go with me to Brighton so I’m probably up for this one!

Just got my hall pass.
I’m in

Weather is looking good so we are on. See you all tomorrow.

Ok if I can get up that early I’m in too

Yon don’t want to get a reputation for being lazy bugger George! Glad you can make it Olly - see you for brekkie!

Going to my cousin’s for a BBQ, will be up for the ride, providing it doesn’t get too messy tonight! :w00t: :Whistling:
