Yummy, yummy, suck, squeeze, burn and blow

This is on so turn up if you fancy it.

Ok since I’m new to this whole biking jargon, what it a nobber and how does one drive like that?

What is a knobber? It’s a bit like the price of a Roller …

If you need to ask Sir :w00t:

Joby, I’m going by the Ace at around 9.15/9.30 and then on to a lay by just South of the A404/M40 junction 4. As tempting as Chelsea is I’d rather not drag my weary bones through the streets of London.

Boo. I can do Ace to my cafe in under 25 minutes. I’m going to set off in a few minutes and see if anyone turns up.

George there are some good definitions of nobber here http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=nobber

It’s generally riding in a way that is dangerous to others in the group.

Rob’s ride isn’t cancelled. Tea Hut for 10am

The planned one is, what i’m doing is a last minute thing:D

Wow great run today 252.2 miles here is the route and some of the food:

Lunch:

Coffee in the Surrey Hills:

Looks good, gotta join you some time. What do you use to do the tracking?

I’ve got a Garmin Zumo 660 which tracks whenver it’s turned on. The tracks are downloadable when you get home so you can see were you went and how fast you were going.

hmm i wonder what rob’s sat nav says about speed and distance/route  …i think i can qualify as a knobber when it takes my fancy

btw food looks good joby and nice route, looks like we could have crossed paths at some point today

Was thinking the same thing Guy:cool:, My twat nav can’t keep up with tracking me:laugh::laugh:

Yes you always have to hope you don’t get a letter in the post verifying that your satnav’s data is accurate.

I have Garmin Nuvi for my car which exports GPX files. Now how is it with motorcycle navs? Are they very different from car ones? Or can I just buy a tank bag and stick my car nav in it and go? I don’t wanna have two Garmins

There are a few threads on this. The Zumo 660 and 550 come with all the accessories to use in the car and on the bike plus they are waterproof, vibration resistant and have 2 interface modes, one for use on the bike with gloves and one for in the car. The unit senses which mount it is in and prompts you to change the interface accordingy.

Zumos are handy because if you connect headphones you can play madonna on the motorway and get gatso alerts via a subscription service.

You can also put a car satnav in a lunch box and mount it to your bike but it is a compromise. Zumos are not compromised.
