I commute in from Essex to Westminster on a Satelis (yeah, bet you need to Google it :P). Been lurking for ages, but saw the thread on the road closure in London the past couple of days and felt the urge to join in.
So. Here we go…

I know what a Satellis is. I don’t know if they’re any good though. You don’t see a lot around in the UK, and I don’t know anyone who’s ridden one. What size is yours, and what do you reckon to it?
Cheers. If you imagine an X9-250 but a little bit more modern, then that’s my Satelis. Even uses the Quasar engine. I’ve thought about getting the 500cc to replace it (had it a year and 13000miles now), but I’m not sure it is worth the extra outlay. Hopefully they will import the RS version due out in France soon: this is to a standard Satelis like a Black Max is to a T-Max. I love it. The balance of performance versus economy is perfect for me, and it has lots of toys to play with. Mine has the trick brakes too. The best bit is the security though: it comes with a 140cm ABUS chain which is locked from INSIDE the boot. And the boot has no separate lock, it is opened either by remote or by the key in the ignition barrel. And now I have found a good dealer, I’ve also got rid of one of the usual downsides of having a Pug.
