Lunch in Camden

Anyone got a recommended, moderately priced/cheap/interesting cafe/restaurant for Daughter 1 to take someone to lunch tomorrow? (Sunday, that is.)

She’s not that keen on Indian but o.k. with most other foods. If she has a preference I’d guess Italian, Spanish, Greek but don’t let that stop suggestions of others.

Here maybe : http://camdenbarandkitchen.com/index.aspBeen a few times for a meal before gigs at the Koko (or Camden Palace if you prefer) - food was good but not blow me away amazing - but better than pub grub and similarly priced. Funky decor and open fire.

If anyone else comes up with a recommendation though for central Camden, I’d be interested to hear it

Belgian cusine perhaps?

Seems to be quite ok for a meal with a daughter, very affordable as well.

Haven’t been there myself yet, but I won’t hesitate to pop in when I’m in the neighbourhood one day.

She could venture up onto Parkway where there are quite a few , or if she fancies pub lunch type grub then perhaps up onto Primrose Hill area , she can just walk accross the footbridge behind the Roundhouse if she’s up at the stables Market end ?

Queens Head is ok , nice pub and food is quite good ( Not been for a couple of years mind )

HA HA HA HA i used to manage that place :stuck_out_tongue: i was gona suggest the same thing, only when i did milkshakes were they just fantabulous :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks guys. Passed the suggestions to Daughter 1.

Guess what? We all wasted our time. They went to a poxy noodle bar.

Sorry.
