Lunch at Chichester (Bosham actually)

In continuing pursuit of my long departed youth :w00t: , and as the weather looks fair for the day, plan on visiting another rather quaint pub on the edge of Chichester harbour called the Anchor Bleu.http://www.bosham.org/anchor/

Obviously named after, and fit for Lagos-Bleu :stuck_out_tongue:

Found some new lanes to ride down to Petworth (Duncton actually) from Boxhill courtesy of recent IAM OR´s

Depart Box at 11.00-11.30 and return via Loomies for tea and then onto Ace, BMM or Blackheath :stuck_out_tongue:

Hi there,

I can’t go on Wednesday with you, but I have to go to Chi next weekend and was wondering if you have an interesting route to share. Love that part of the world - Chi is God’s Pocket.

Will pm you road details

Well today I don’t feel like riding anywhere…but by Wed who knows!

That pub sells fantastic cider:)

Nice view too, but be careful on the seaweed in front if parking just after high tide:ermm:

Thanks Chris, forgot about the seaweed as last time I was there was in the 70’s :w00t: :w00t:

Why do you have to do these rideouts to nice pubs on a weekday??? :stuck_out_tongue:

Because , like Blue Lagos, I cannot be @rsed to go back to work at the moment and just want to enjoy the bike and roads

At weekends, someone is usually hosting a rideout, such as TimR, Ride4fun or Jetstream and that takes me on road/places I don’t know

Take Wednesday off/ go sick and come along :stuck_out_tongue:

Count me out … next time.

Sorry I can’t make it today Martin…:frowning: … but have a nice ride and lunch…

A most enjoyable ride down to Bosham via B roads with Ben for compoany; the perfect riding companion, nop complaints, only smiles

For Blue Lagos’ info, the Anchor Bleu does do salads :stuck_out_tongue:
