Lucky I saw that

I was at work today I work in a postroom , I park my bike just down the side of it so it’s out the way of people seeing it but I can see it all the time , today 2 guys on a black r6 pull up near my bike and hang around for a minute then they ride off , 10 minutes later came back , one of them standing right next to my bike with a screw driver, I opened the door where my bike was at the time and said what do you think your doing with that screw driver , he replies I always carry one then next thing he gets on the bike and rides off with his mate on the same bike , I told security and now moved my bike outside securitys office I think i’ll keep it there from now on I should of waited to see what he done and caught him in the act but it was just my adrenaline kicking in and just made me go out luckily if anything did happen my mate with me at the time does kick boxing and proper built so I wasn’t that bothered if they tried to stab me with a screw driver LOL

Lucky lucky !

Should have clocked index mark on bike they were on, prob nicked as well

troble with a brand new bike…and i bet he could have knicked it with a screw driver alone.

Well I might be in bit of luck I told security and there are security cameras covering the entrance they went out of , so if I can get hold of the licence plate I’ll give the police a ring and ask if that plate is on police radar , funny reply to say you carry a screw driver with you all the time… yeah if your a theif cun*

The screwdriver remark was probably a threat. Which probably makes the incident an assault…definitely report it if you can get their numberplate.

i carry 2 screwdrivers, duct tape, pliers, and cable ties with me (well they live in my top box), you need to if you have a bike that’s as bodged as mine :hehe:
Lucy you saw that though.

Lucky you were there.

Lucky to be honest, did you have any chains or disklocks on it?

Yeah I just normally use a disk lock and the bike has an alarm on it , Security guy I know said to me it’s better to have it in a place everyone can see it that way noones gana try tampering with it and thats a fair point , Now I just got to look at getting a chain and taking it to work and parking it in a safe place.

Very lucky. Hope security have their number plate, the scummy maggots.

if you can cover the bike, i had to keeps eyes off,

Lucky - seems the season for nicking bikes is back. Keep it locked down!

Keep an eye out incase they come back.

dan,

park it by security and get a cover for it, trouble s they knwo ts there now…poss look at gettign an almax for use at work fella, take t to work and leave t there use at work;)

any trouble dude, bell me.

Lucky you saw it! It would be nice to catch bastards but very difficult – probably if there is a police car hanging around, but unlikely on your own.
