I noticed last week that apart from having the normal Gatso on Lower Thames St another has been installed to catch the front of the offending vehicle so now there is a camera at each end of the lines in the road - this is on both sides of Lower Thames St
It’s a trial to capture an image of the offending vehicle from the front to allow for identification of the driver… thus removing the it wasnt me driving at the time m’lud defence. Probably of little or no use in connection with bikes unless you’re wearing and open face helmet.
