Does anyone know where I can get a slightly lower seat for my Wee Strom in the uk? I’ve looked at Corbin but the prices are high and I’m looking for something that I can see and maybe try before I buy.
I’d be happy to have my current one modded if that’s cheaper. Anyone know somewhere near London that does this?

Plenty of people out there who can do re sculpting and recovering. If they are cutting padding away they mostly can re use the original cover and keep the makers look to the seat and the cost down. BUT:
Take my advice from messing around with my old street moto, DON’T DO IT unless you are an iron arsed masochist.
Spend a little extra and get someone that really knows about this stuff and get a gel pad incorporated into the lowered seat to make up for the loss of sponge.
Better yet, don’t muck about with the seat. Fit a shorter “dog bone” link into the rear suspension. O.K. It slightly changes the whole bike geometry and makes it a tad lazier into corners but mostly gives better straight line stability in return. If you even notice the change.
Best bit is it retains the comfort of the original seat, doesn’t change the appearance of the bike and it’s a reversible at no cost change. (You do have to remember where you put the original dog bone though!)
I’ve decided to go with www.smartrrrs.biz in the end. I was able to look at one he’d done in the flesh and I liked the quality. I am going with a gel pad in the lowered seat for comfort reasons as I wanted one of those anyway.
Most of my riding on this bike is done 2-up, and with 2 people on, the height is perfect. It’s only when I’m riding solo (rarely) that it’s a problem, so I’ll try the lowered seat first, and go for link changes second.
