Love thy neighbour

Noticed that my neighbour had room in her garage to fit my bike. So I asked her if there was any possibility I could keep my bike in there for the winter months saying that I’d be willing to pay her rent to which she replied ‘no don’t be silly you I don’t want any money you can use it whenever you like’

Happy days  So I’m off back to Wales this weekend to fit a new rear brake pedal and mirror so I can ride it back up and keep it in a safer place without having to look out the window every 5 minutes.

Opinions… would it be asking too much to ask her if I could alarm the garage door?? Reason I think it would be asking too much is that it’s directly under her lodgers bedroom so if it was to go off it would rudely awaken them when I’d probably struggle to hear it.

You could suggest the alarm and point out that if someone’s breaking in, it will help them too ;-). If that doesn’t work, set up an alarm that alerts you remotely…

she`s after your plum mate. lol.

Love thy neighbour…but don’t get caught ! :w00t:

result.

just stick one of those alarmed motion sensitive disk locks on the bike.

or ask her about putting an alarm on the door as you’re pulling a pube from your teeth, she’ll probably agree.

Why don’t you offer to alarm the garage door for her in lieu of rent?

It need only be a cheap local alarm with a pair of door contacts and movement detector inside plus an external sounder. Kits used to be around for about £50-£60. They’re not exactly sophisticated but anything is better than nothing.

Has he only got the one? If so how do you know??

No chance of that happening. She’s got a Brazilian.

Fixed it for you.

About the alarm - it wouldn’t hurt to ask, point out the security benefits (as others have suggested) and perhaps the fact that you would be paying for a permanent, small improvement to her property

I don’t think she’s got many valuables in her garage. Spotted a gimp suit and mask hanging up and a few chains, whips and torture devices but don’t think they’re all that expensive are they?

Now I know I’m living up to my tag line.

I have no idea where this thread is going.

you could always, as a thanks for storing your bike, be her slave for a day or weekend and she obviously being the dom.
can also point out that an alarmed door could help if someone else tries to steal her gimp outfit

To repeat:

Now I know I’m living up to my tag line.

I have no idea where this thread is going.

Oldguy

alarmed disk lock, maybe 2.

just hope she doesn’t jog them herself

‘Londonbiker’?

Are there some gloves you can borrow

She’s just agreed to let you use her garage for free. If you bring up the topic of alarming it, she might get worried that you keeping your bike there will make a break in more likely… she might change her mind about letting you use it. Maybe stick with the disc-lock alarm.

Tonight brake into her house and smash the place up a bit and then paint in (pigs blood) on the wall “u gone die bitch” i bet by the end of the week the whole house will be alarmed up

Or she’d decide to move away and then I’d have to start fresh by sweet talking whoever else was to move in :w00t:
