As it says really, as I was leaving, could see a police helicopter over the Park Royal area, then loads of police cars, when I got to hanger lane roundabout a couple of lads were pretty abruptly stopped in the middle of the road by a marked car’ all whilst helicopter circling overhead!
It’s fair to say that I wouldn’t be heading down there with the intention of riding like you were on a track!!
What’s the latest on that little play ground? I remember there was some sort of banning order, but when does it run to?
well if your bring attention to yourself you are asking to be spoken to by the law and be dealt with appropriately if your arsing about as if your a 16 year old on a 50cc, surely cant be that hard to act mature and ride sensibily without riding like a wannabe world superbike rider ?
Yeah i noticed this as we left also. For the record as i came to the towards the other exit from the ace (towards Ikea) there was an officer with a radio standing by the road. As we got further along there where police cars near the Mac Donald’s. Im guessing they where looking to pull over bikes moving to briskly.
To be honest its not a bad thing, some people outside the ace are really dangerous. I notice how scary it must be for new and less experienced riders.
apart from some bikes getting pulled on the slip road by ace, its was pretty quite police wise i thought, i left at about midnight had a good ride home, didnt see any old bill till near home.
thats true, if a friend comes up there with me for the first time i always explain what to expect, and to be carefull, just crossing the road on foot can be a bit iffy :w00t:
