Kinda agree with Pat there, a bit overblown, but yes those sort of left-field questions would catch out a ‘terrorist’ type person. Its still a bit of a needle in a haystack approach for a small part of the crimal element in this country, I would prefer to see the time taken to catch out people without insurance/licences/driving while banned…but hopefully they will catch some of them doing this as well!

I’m no way tarring all police with the same brush, the bikesafe chap was cool as, and ive met quite a few traffic police in my time the amount of miles i do.
The police are great. All races are equally great. The polish are utterly great!
This terrorist police guy was possibly a prat, or possibly utterly brilliant in his policing techniques.

I’ve not been pulled by the police in UK since I was 17 y/o in my MkII Escort and got told by a nice policeman dog handler that I qualified for prat of the month for trying to drift it round a roundabout 
And thats even including the naughtyness of my riding last weekend down in Sussex.

Have been pulled over a few times, once was (in the copper’s words) “driving like a twat”. Have enourmous respect for coppers, its just some indurrviduals (misspelt on purpose) give the others a bad name.
You’ve just been very lucky ! 
My proudest stop is for (in the words of the officer) “Driving in a manner which gave me reason to believe the car may be stolen.” Escaped without even a producer

I know too many coppers for my own sanity and most of them are pretty sound.Generalising wildly and with a few exceptions, most of the greenies, haven’t managed to work the chip of their shoulder yet, or how to deal with it. I think they’ve stopped teaching social skills at Hendon in order to fit in double form filling.
