Wotcha Dave ;)I certainly feel the need for some moto madness - but not sure I’m ready just yet for the schlep from central london to the moby dick at the crack of dawn, in the dark, and most likely in the rain too. I’ll see how I feel. (But I haven’t had an opportunity to annoy George with my dodgy riding for a while, so mebbe I should make a special effort :D)

if it weighs more than 120 kg, it’s not a supermoto.running!
So a Yamaha XT125X is more supermoto than a DRZ400sm & a KTM Duke! No whay! :w00t:Although I do thoroughly understand that the DRZ is more of a street-tard

Umm yeah ;)No im cheating :w00t: Im driving down with the bike on the trailer, would take me ages if i rode down because i would take all the back roads. But i did ride down to Box Hill to meet the Jets and a few others in the past but thats cause i had till 10 so plenty of time for playing on the lanes to get there then they escorted me part the way back.

:w00t: :w00t: :w00t: Are telling me you actually rode from stratford on avon to box hill? On your 525 - for a rideout? Fuckinell - I went on a few box hill runs but gave em up coz of the horrible ride across london to get there and back. I suppose keeping to the lanes means you move around more and your arse gets a bit of relief, but even so :w00t: :w00t: :w00t:

Sure did, ask the Jets or Hels. I rode down to meet everyone, went on a ride with them then headed back home. The jets did escort me half the way home though.I use my moto like everyone else uses a normal everyday bike. I ride all day long with no problems at all, well apart from needing fuel about every 60miles :hehe:The BCR was never enough for me so i used to do it twice when i was in essex. Thats actualy because i was based near FF, lol. Id ride down to the meet point, do the BCR then ride back up again the same way
I want to do the RBL 1000 mile jobby on my moto just need the time off for starters then too work a route out on the lanes to each check point so it’ll end up being more than 1,000miles no doubt :w00t:

I don’t think so - don’t remember a horse box and there was definitely no oncoming vehicle. Oh hang on, do you mean that time on the first BCR I went on, when I was riding Hels’ old hornet? You were on your old red dook on what turned out to be its final outing (with a rather foxy lady called Raj riding pillion as I recall) following a vehicle which may well have been a horse box - and I went past you and then the horsebox (?) having completely misjudged the speed of an oncoming motor that turned out to be doing about a ton twenty, and I came very close indeed to getting creamed. I’d forgotten about that one, if that’s the one you mean. And you never said anything about it to me (nor did anyone else strangely). Anyway it wasn’t on a bend and the road was dry ![]()
May be drbmoto is right, there seems to be a pattern here…may be we (read you) do need to take it easy!
Oops, I was gonna keep my gob shut?
