Looking ahead to 2009 riding

It’s a new year and I have the parts to start getting my TL up, running and better than ever. I hope to get to the workshop tomorrow and fit the new(ish) shock and new braided hoses (yes I may have brakes that work at last).

Some of you know that last year I went for a jolly around Europe and eventually the Czech GP. This year I am planning on heading to LeMans.

Is anybody else planning a trip this year whether it be continental/global/domestic it would be fun to hear about it and get stoked for another year of great rides and big grins.

Well we are off to the TT again for 2 weeks :cool:

Planning to visit Amsterdam and Scotland for starters only thing needed is to earn the money to pay for it all :wink:

May also slot in a few days in Devon/Cornwall :smiley:

I would like to head to Scotland, or atleast a long weekend in the peaks but you hit the nail on the head, it comes down to budget.

At leat fuel is cheaper…at the moment.

I might drive to one of the closer GPs, either Assen or Le Mans. Assuming that I buy a car of course…

June, Le Mans then heading up to the Nurburgring (whooo hoooo) then back via Belgium… possibly North Wales as have free accommodation there (if I can stand the mother-in-law for a few nights that is) and the Lake District in the summer (more free accommodation by way of the father-in-law - even he couldn’t stand the ‘mother’ ha ha) :wink:
