Yeap, they put the bikes on a the trans siberian railway for the Zilov Gap - there are no roads - MondoEnduro managed to get across but they’re about the only people I’ve heard of.
But it was always the plan to go on the train for the Zilov Gap - there’s no roads there!
The KTM guy was proved totally wrong as he said that they wouldn’t make it - but they did - and then went on to sell a stupid amount of DVDs and Books and BMW saw a MASSIVE surge in sales of the GS… bummer for KTM!
Did they get the 3 bmw’s for free and spares.

Just £1 going to Unicef? You forget that they weren’t raising money for them, but raising awareness. It’s about £300k of free publicity and PR. So well worth it.
