Long time lurker finally converted

Hiya,

Just wanted to say hi as I finally registered after a fair bit of lurking around the forums.

I got my DAS last year after a year on a Varadero 125 and many many years on a scooter (mostly spent dreaming about proper bikes).

May have been slightly mental but went straight for a bright orange KTM 990 SM-T and am absolutely loving it - from my 7 mile central london commute every day (year round, except when it snowed) to the weekend blasts out of the city…

And I’ve been playing around with a helmet cam as well - this is what my commute looks like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ECxDHpsQnYI&hd=1

See you around!

Hi mate,

Welcome to LB.

Only thing I would say though, edit your videos so it doesn’t show where you leave your bike day & night!

Take it easy out there

Hello and welcome to LB mate

Welcome To LB And Hi Like The Bike

Hi  Welcome to LB

Ello and welcome

fantastic bike ! Just looked at your vid , great! Which camera do you use,it’s so clear.

nice bike and cool video! like the speeded up effect  lets see ya on some rideouts then!

Thanks all!

It’s a Drift HD 170 Stealth - I chose it not just for great video quality (will go to full hi def - 1080p) but because it has an (optional) external microphone I can stuff down the back of my jacket so it doesn’t just pick up wind noise like most helmet cams!

I used to work near London Bridge so the Borough Market one would have been perfect, now it’s a bit further but I’ll try!

welcome!

I’ve got a 950SM (in black, obviously). The big ktms are fantastic bikes - really do everything.

Did I see you sneak into a bus lane??? ;) :stuck_out_tongue: Welcome to LB

Only if it had double red lines… :ermm:
