London Bikers Olympics??

I was thinking we could do a London bikers Olympics in a couple of weeks time, do it for charity the LAA come to mind.

£5 to enter, LB goodies for the winner plus try get the ace to throw in some tea and brekkie vouchers.

Events to include -

100 meter full leather + helmet dash

Fastest bump start

Slow Race

car park filtering round flag poles

Bike lifts 5 bikes got to lift 1 wheel off the floor on all 5 fastest time wins (most likely alex gold)

PLus any other witty or fun ideas.

trying to figure interest, if you think it might be fun and you would be up for it then let me know and i will look at trying to put something together.

Maybe you could be the LB olympic champion!

We did a similar type event for Two Wheels Only mag a few years ago at Box Hill (Suzuki v Kawasaki)

Back in the day we were wild and free, we didn’t even do a risk assessment before the event.

We didn’t even take our helmets off to have lunch. :smiley:

But by the end of the day we were really Tyred. :smiley:

This sounds fantastic. It’s brilliant that lots of events are appearing in the calendar. I would suggest rounders could be a good laugh also. We can fashion medals out of old sprockets or something.

With respect to Marks posts about lifting bikes, I read the entire series of articles in TWO, shame I binned them all in a fit of recycling. Two of the more memorable events were, “The Burger Eat” pictured above and “The cake feed.” Thinking about those events still makes me laugh.
