Hey all,
I’ve set up a group on Facebook for all of us London Biker L Plater’s to talk and learn from one another… plus maybe arrange a rideout or two
Other License holding LB members also very welcome as a mentor or two would be good
The group is called “London Biker L Plater’s” so if you search for that you should find it… the address is http://www.facebook.com/groups/create.php?success=1&customize&gid=148615386069#/group.php?gid=148615386069
Cheers

clicked the link n applied to join…not a L plater, but got plenty of useless advice if needed :)
Always knew you were a tool!
P.S Ive set the group up so that I have to approve your request to join, this is just so that any ole tom, dick and harry cant join
Don’t let the power get to you!
Has Rioting Rob been made admin yet?
If not he’ll be throwing his dummy out!

I trust you are aware that there is a “London Bikers” group already on Face Book…
You can always discuss rideouts and other topics on here in the forum, isn’t that what we do… just a thought:)

From past experience, separate Facebook groups don’t tend to do that well amongst LBers.
Hell, the main LB Facebook page don’t do that well amongst LBers (someone said ‘Hello’ a couple of months ago - nobody’s replied yet  )
PJ’s got a point - this worked well - so did this and this

Hmmmm… thats actually a valid point PJ
To be honest… I just got bored at work and was thinking of things to do so I thought id make up a group for L plate riders… just to help the L’s beable to find eachother as on the London Bikers site it doesnt really distinguish your rider level. Maybe on the avatar display if they setup something that shows what actual road biking level your at?, like “L Plater”, and say do the army ^ stripe for every year you’ve passed your test and been on the road?
Any thoughts on that?
