London BikeLife Documentary

Gives the Ace Cafe and bikers in general a great reputation

I was curious as to these groups websites, these seem to be the ones …

https://www.facebook.com/ukraiseitup

I didn’t realise Twitter was so used for some of this stuff

I had to turn it off after a few minutes, Kids like that make me so angry!! i very rarely wish bad upon anyone, but they are in need of some Natural Selection!!

It’s idiots like that, that give the rest of us really bad names, they will grow up get a few years older and think they can jump on a 600 (or worse yet, Bigger) and do the same thing and seriously hurt themselves, or worse, hurt someone else!! They will jump on and think “I know what, lets do a Wheelie” and the bike will launch them off the back and go flying up the road!!

Thought this one would rustle some feathers

I’m really in two minds. I see a bunch of kids doing stupid things, a few of them which could use an attitude adjustment.

I believe if things were made more accessible to young people such as track days and stunt schools this type of idiocy would be reduced on public roads. Education for young people is key. Instead of sending 5 police cars and ten officers to that industrial estate, why not send three or four bike coppers who can give good advice and would likely have much better cohesion with that group?

I see a group of young men who would probably be great candidates for apprenticeships in garages and anything else to do with engines.

But yeah, the “I don’t f*** with number plates or helmets” guy… ahah.

This is a brilliant idea. It should be implemented country wide as it would definately work, But i would send the ones with guns and shoot them all!!! On the Scramblers/Supermoto’s so that would apeal to the demographic much more, then take them out on a Scootersafe Course and also show them graphic videos of what can happen with the way they Ride and what they wear to ride.

When i was a Kid i grew up on a Council estate and we had nothing to do and we were quite destructive and annoying to the estate residents. The council sent round “Social Workers” to the estate and they took us to youth clubs and days out in the School Holidays to Outdoor adventure centres (Stubbers for those in Essex). we done Go Karting andd went to pantomimes and all cr4p like that (partly subsidised by our Parents and the Council) We done Duke of Edinborough Schemes and all stuff like that. It was brilliant and took us off the streets and gave us stuff to look forward too, this should happen nowadays too, but like you say take them to garages and teach them how to fettle with the scooters and stuff that would interest them now.

It definately works as i was looking like i was going to become a Teen Tearaway but that intervention definately pointed me back in the right direction

There’s definitely things which could be done to encourage them to be safer and more responsible on the road, I don’t believe dispersing them from private property achieves that, it just pushes them out onto the public roads with an even greater disdain for the police.

A few friendly OB with a set of cones should go and challenge them to a low speed control competition, hand out information packs with images of accidents with no protective gear and discount coupons for decent brand gear. Everyone wins.

i do like the tshirt

I watched it. Thought it was ok. It’s nothing new though, I think this scene comes round every few generations. The girl doing the interviewing seemed caught up in it all and not particularly objective.

One thing which has changed sadly is reputations. These days it’s all about self promotion on the internet. In the old days I think people were just known and because nothing was documented there was legend and embellishment of characters. Like when Sting rocks up in the movie Quadrophenia, or when people would brag about doing a ton. No one knew whether it was true or not but I think that was more exciting.

The Vice bare knuckle boxing documentary was better I thought. It came up as one of the related videos.

absolute bllx, part of the bike scene I think not

part of a bunch of scrote scene maybe, never do I want to banded with these twats.

I think they’re all messed up in the head!

Why would you go as break someone’s nose just cause they used “your” hashtag on their t-shirt! If they do stuff like that then they ain’t a part of a biking community! Cause in our community we respect each other and understand that different people like different things and we don’t get mad when someone copies our colour scheme!

Only people that know what the biker community is are the actual bikers the rest have no clue and think it’s all about fighting over stupid ****

oh look I’m a hype Vice wannabe reporter, let’s do a mini doc on kids pulling wheelies and extend their image to the London biking scene…

No problem with kids doing stunts on industrial states, it’s been done forever, I still have videos from my friends 15 years ago. But wtf is this shitty attempt to connect Ace Café with this “lifestyle”… here is one for the reporter.

I also hope they are insured.

you lot are killers…

what was the Ace founded on?

ton up boys… rebels…riding like loons and not giving a hoot, that’s what, jeez some people quickly forget where it all started…there wil always be a hooligan/ anti social element to riding, and for some they like it…we don’t all obey every single traffic law…

what he said…

I enjoyed that. Ta

Unfortunately it seems the Ace may not be around much longer if it keeps being seen as a source of trouble :ermm:

I agree that we have to give it to them that some of them can do some nice stunts but my issue with them is that they always have some sort of gangs and as you see in the short movie they broke someone’s nose over a slogan! That is NOT the biker community!!!

these lot are a bunch of wankers they have fucked up a few stunt spots with there stupidness
no really skill getting a pizza bike on the back wheel just need to have a large meat feast in the back

the person that done this piece has no clue at all is a waste of fucking server space
and who is giving them international attention is a load of rubbish they get laughed at

think you will find the spots get lost because of the ‘noise’ not who is actually down there…

no real skill? really!? these kids have the balance point on lock…they can wheelie far better than many…including yourself…

some people build stunt bikes but cant stunt for ****.

I’m sorry but I’m nt gonna let you say that they can’t do stunts!!! They can propably wheelie until they run out of petrol! Yes they are silly and have ruined bikers name but you can’t say that they have no skill

You do realise Big D is a professional stunter don’t you?

If he says it’s crap then I trust his judgement.
