Yes, they have, twice already
Pay attention Pike :w00t::D;)
The £5 battery charger is a particular bargain if they have any left, made in Germany and has done a great job on mine.
Aldi also have some bike kit from 24th
Lidl haven’t even started it yet have they!?
Not yet , starts thursday, but may be in stores tomorrow pm

How much ? :Wow:
I thought that I had posted about this?
I just been down to have a look this eveing. There seems to be no value for money in the goods.
The lids = I was once told that “You only put a £10 head in a £10 helmet”. I’d rather not crash in one of these lids. I had thought about a lid for the kids, but no thanks!
They had tie-down rachet strap thingies. for the sake of a few more £’s I’d rather not have my bikes rolling around in the back of a van!
The alarmed dicks locks looked like my three year old would reduce it to bits with * his plastic* tool set within a few mins.
The rest of the stuff seemed about the same.
I bnought a lock and chain from Aldi last time out. That seemed better value.
The items others have found good value include the clothing which is had wearing and dry, the charger which works, the intercom, which works, and the compact first aid kit.
I nearly bought the charger. I picked up that with a couple of packs of the tie-down strap things. But I figured if the other stuff was ermm, not quite what it might be (see my post on the subject on 13th http://londonbikers.com/forums/Topic327042-58-1.aspx ). Then the chargers may be not very good quality either. JMHO, but for the sake of a few quid, I dont wanna risk setting fire to my garage’n sh1t!
r now i think i know who sent me the text about it
Being a tight old git and in need of some waterproof trousers last winter, I bought a pair from Lidl.
It rained the first day I wore them and I stayed dry. I’ve still not got wet while wearing them.
They’re as bit short in the rise and they have no hip armour or pockets for that. But mine are as they say. Waterproof.
What more can you ask from a product at that price. Oh. And the boots were ugly as hell but they don’t leak either.
Oldguy.
Sorry, yeah. I used the other mob:blush:
Got me a £5 intercom wahoo! Hopefully will stop the random bashing on the shoulders and lid when she wants to talk. Although I think I’ll miss the peace! :ermm:
Thought I would try the socks too, I really splashed out! :w00t:
I got another first aid kit so we have one under the seat of both bikes, two kidney belts (look well made and are very compfy), the battery charger, a pair of thermal leggings and some Parmesan. Did I tell you Lidl Parmesan might not be the best Paremesan on the planet, but it is good value?
The thermals were a speculative buy as I wasn’t sure whether Lidl XL would fit even a fat bastard like me but they are good.
will everyone please stop blooding buying everything in lidl so I have a chance to buy something
Got home from work this evening to find dad and victoria walking round the house wearing their bike helmets, talking to each other through the Lidl walkie talkies! Thought they’d all gone mad!
:D:w00t::hehe: and i thought i did daft things lol
lol we were making sure they worked
remind me to stay away from them 2 lol must have funny as lordy! at the time
