Welldone to Lewis fro winning the championship, what a great race espaecially the last 10 laps which were nail bitting for me.
I do feel sorry for Massa as i have always liked him as a driver and i would like him to win the championship, maybe next year.
That was a brilliant race!, so much sofa arm chewing drama… well done Lewis!.
+1:)
Completely forgot about the race, all of a sudden at about 6.50 I thought “oh I wonder how Hamilton is getting on” so I turned it on to see the last lap.
Well done Lewis, although I would have quite liked him to screw it up again like he did last year.

Possibly the best F1 championship we will ever see, regardless of the Ham winning it. I was rooting for phillipe due to early season bets, but OMG what an end, come on Hamilton, you deserve every moment!
It will never be the same again, but KERS, new rules and all that goes with it, including the BBC taking it over in 09 - F1 couldnt be in better shape.
What a season, what an end. Came down to the last corner . Now thats racing…
What an ending, thought Vettel was going to scupper it for Hamilton, it seems Mclaren knew Glock was going to have to slow down so they told Hamilton not to fight Vettel. Good call, and what a brilliant season for Lewis. A worthy World Champion.
Looking forward to the BBC coverage next season, thought ITV’s efforts have been very amateurish, and as for those advert breaks… Just hope they bring back Murray Walker.

I am really pleased Hamilton won the championship, but won’t be surprised if this isn’t the end of this. Glock had been out for several laps on slicks in the rain but was still lapping faster than Hamilton, then on the last lap that suddenly change, he slowed, lost 20 seconds and did just enough to let Hamilton pass him. It did look rather fishy to me as 20 seconds is a lot to lose all of a sudden, even if you have the wrong tyres, unless you choose to stop racing.
Well done to him. He deserved it. I feel bad for Massa, but I wasn’t overly impressed when the crowd boo’d Hamilton’s dad. Have to admit the faces on Massa’s team when they found out Hamilton had gone through was priceless.
Massa’s interview was good, he’s a top guy and never moaned once. Likewise Hamilton’s dad wished all the best to Massa and his family.
Alonso…all I’ll say is…snubs the eejits nose!
Thought the same thing.
Wasn’t exactly subtle.
yes itv have had F1 for too long now, can’t wait till it goes back to BBC. There wasn’t even 10mins between adverts earlier, and then they always put an advert in at the end of the race and normally miss that start of the interviews, or you get no interviews at all cos Corronation Street is on :w00t: i mean what is the point!
Hmm if you keep watching glock was slipping and slidding all over the place as a whole host of other drivers passed him…not sure there was anything fishy at all.
But to be fair, Raikonnen gave Massa the points in previous races…even if glock gave up his place because of his loyalty for Hamilton, a black british driver, Glock of course being a white german…obvious that he would give it up for hamilton…NOT.
An excellent and well deserved victory for Hamilton and MacLaren. Nice to see the FIA being snubbed and very nice to see Massa to be a good sportsman. I hope Alfonso has indigestion after eating humble pie…
Congratulations on Lewis winning, but the race wasn’t exciting. I didn’t even look up from the ironing in the final lap.
Sorry F1 lost it’s sparkle a long time ago. There is little actual racing, very little excitement, but way to much money, politics and bickering. It isn’t helped by the man who resembles a troll, and another who likes to be spanked in themed parties.
The last races that I really enjoy watching and could watch again were last the couple of the 1994 season when Nigel Mansell took over seat from Senna. He spent the entire race battling with Jean Alesi, and won the final race of the season.
Felt sorry for Massa, who’d done nothing wrong.
But LOVED the look on Alonso’s face on teh podium, poor LOSER that he is>
Well done Lewis.
Ferrari celebrating before realising they didn’t actually win was gold.
I don’t know why people still insist on slating F1, this season has been a good one (not just because we have a British hope again). The race yesterday was excellent.
That said, I prefer rally. Its just never on TV!
Well done Lewis
Did he win then?
A very good race would of preferred Massa to of took the title though as I think he deserves it more, just a shame about the Ferrari pit error at Shanghi as he would of won, but if’s and but’s dont cut it unfortunatly
