Riding back from Box hill today at around 10.30am. Guy in front of me about 100 yds came off doing some speed. I was the only witness. Ambulance came and took him to the hospital. Couldnt get much sense out of the guy. I was wondering if anyone knew of the accident. I desperately want to know if the guy is ok. Seeing it happen was a great shock to the system. He was riding a blue Yamaha R6 I believe 54 plate. 5000 miles on the clock.
How did it happen ?
Just seem to loose it. He was with 2 other bikers but they seem to disappear. One of his mates came buy, but I didnt get to speak to him. Dont know whether he was one of the other two bikers.
Should have asked the ambulance crew what hospital they were taking him to.
I once saw ambulance, cars etc by the side of the road. Didn’t stop because they had it under control. Went back same way later and this bike was just sat there by the side of the road in the middle of the countryside. Looked completely out of place. I contacted police to say has the person been taken to Hospital and if so I could take the bike and keep it safe until they wanted to collect it, but they wouldn’t give out details. They just said they would pass it along. Then I was contacted back to say thanks but no thanks. It was still there the next morning, recovered later that day.
I think Epsom has A ad E and they are only a few miles away.
I tried calling Epsom A&E. Wouldnt give any details. Cest la vie

Same thing happened to me, watched kid get run over by a bus 1st on scene, knew what a&e they took him to went there after work to see how he was doing but would not tell me…
It is gutting to be honest…
