Loving the smell of leather as I do…I totally embarassed myself and little scrawny in a Land of Leather shop.
I couldnt help myself…I walked in sniffed the air and groaned…loudly! 
The woman next to me said she wanted wot I was on and a couple of guys winked at me…to say I went red is an understatement!!!
Bless me little barnacles…best stay out of the saddlers for a while too!!!

I took a pinlock inner visor whatsit back to the shop today saying i couldnt see through the bloody thing before the shop geezer pointed out that it has some kind of protective strip on it that i’m supposed to pull off.
Truth be known I felt a bit of a tw@

Redster, if it makes you feel any better, both myself and my wife bought new Shoei helmets and didn’t wear the pinlock for the same reason. It was only through idle conversation that he mentioned someone had been trying to ride with the plastic on and bought it back to complain (it wasn’t you was it?). I didn’t admit my mistake, but went home, peeled off the plastic and it’s been on ever since!
