I know a lot of club racers use BKS made to measure. http://www.bksleather.co.uk/ I’ve just noticed they have been swallowed up by Frank Thomas although that seems to be just for a new ‘off the peg’ line.
I know this problem all too well. I tried loads of leathers on but nothing would fit me at all!!
I had my 2 piece leathers made to measure at Harpers racing in Southend. The people there are fab and Phil is great! Mine cost less than £600 and the quality of leather is much better than the usual Alpine Stars, Dainese etc. You can also choose which coulours you want where etc. Here’s a photo of mine.
It’s a good picture, innit. Sherrie and bike, floating in the air. If anyone wants to take a picture of me on my bike (and I can’t think why they would), then I think I’d be wearing helmet and dark visor
I am many thing dear, lol. That photo was from a free photo shoot that LB was offered last year. Quite a few of us took up the offer and as you can see, they came out really well (even if I do say so myself :P)
Expensive but worth every penny, i have BKS leathers (but Frank ‘Spencer’ Thomas) aint touched them. I know the clothing department in Honda Chiswick will cut you a deal/ discount on tailor made leathers.
I have a set of CARRERA leathers for sale - little use never crashed in 1.4mm buffalo hide!! very good suit- was made for the “cuddlier” rider was £1200
