I have been registered on here for quite a while but haven’t really thown myself into the London motorbike scene yet so since Summer is virtually here… here goes!
Without this meaning to be an Alcoholics Anonymous background, I’ll try to keep it short and sweet!
About Me:
- Nick Carter, 25, live in West Hampstead which is pretty well connected for the M1, North Circular, Thames Link etc.
- I work in Consulting (specialise in SAP & Finance), and currently work with the world’s largest Music company to design and implement systems
- Lived in London for nearly 3 years, between Temple (EC4Y), Chiswick (W4), and South Hampstead (NW6)
Biking History:
- I’ve ridden bikes since I was 18… A quick photo history is more interesting than text I feel
- I’ve been round the Nurbergring a few years back and hope to go again this summer
- Cadwell and Donnington are the only tracks I’ve ridden but quite familiar with Cadwell now. Plan to use some MSV vouchers this summer, maybe Brands?!
- Shamefully been up to 9 points but now back down to a clean license and hope to keep it that way!!
- Yet to go to the IoM TT but would love to - maybe next year
Why I’m on LB.com
- I don’t know too many riders in London, just a couple of work colleagues and an old Uni mate on a Triumph Daytona 675R
- It’d be great to have a few more contacts to head out on some decent rides at the weekend. I’d count myself as a pretty quick rider, so might get a bit frustrated wtih the ‘learner friendly’ rides
- Very happy to exchange details for whatsapp / texts when people are planning rides and I’ll do the same. Runs to Brighton and Box Hill are always fun!
Suzuki Bandit - first bike and track day:
I didn’t realise wheelies aren’t allowed on race track… it was only my second one
Didn’t have this one for long - ZX636 was WAY too uncomfortable for me. I felt like it was trying to dislocate my hip!
