Last two days of riding has been nightmare..

Becuase of the pissing down it has been real nasty riding out there…nothing keeps you dry I have 450 suit but that also starts leaking after few hours in the rain.

forget the pissing down,…
how do you manage to fit into 450 suits?.

I’ve found the last two days in London a doddle. Not cold - wet, yes. What’s the problem?

I agree…mind you i has been chucking it down while im IN work

Riding home tonight, I pulled up at some lights, looked around and I was like… h wow, its pissing down and there’s a hurricane.

The right gear and you don’t even notice…

Your thinking process is slower than a 6 year old I have to explain everything. I meant 450 pound suit.

Strewth that’s heavy  Also a lot of money ! Where does it leak ? Is it along the seams or down yur neck ?

The weathers pukka for the time of year, even today with a bit of wind about, the roads are dry…Lurving it, cant wait to get on the rideout on sunday

1hr 45 on a train to do ajourney that takes 35 mins on the bike. Now that’s a nightmare!

It actually started snowing (albeit very briefly) around knightsbridge on my way home last night.

Dry roads this morning…waaaaaaaaaaaahey…giving it plenty of right wrist on the way in this morning…

Toby I agree, if you have the right gear and the right tyres there’s no problem. You get used to riding in all weathers eventually, I won’t let a bit of rain put me off.

I was only thinking on the way home last night how mild the temperatures have been, haven’t even touched the dial on me heated grips the last couple of weeks

lol well count yourselves lucky in the last 2 days I have had 3 people pull in front of me not so easy to keep your balance on a wet floor when your hammering the brakes…

Glad I wasn’t riding in yesterday’s hurricane…

Grim must have been happy though, that was BUSa biking weather

Very true. Unless its raining so hard you have trouble seeing ahead and i’ve had that a few times!!!

I ride in the rain and didn`t spend 450 on a suit.

What’s the problem with a huricane? It was good fun up the M11 last night. There was an accident, so I ended up at the front when the road opened - didn’t take long to catch the first truck, but good while it lasted. Cross-winds just make for even more fun - especially coming out from beside a big truck. The worst thing this week was the queue of cars from Harlow all the way to the end of the M11 on Tuesday morning. Filtering’s all very well, but you can have too much of a good thing.

Well you see, we’re all of varying abilties and opinions. We bow to your mighty road-based experience and are awed by your feats of weather-defiance.

You should try pushing you and your bike to the hospital after mashing into the tarmac. Doddle.
