Ladies Bike Leathers. Where to buy?

Hi all,

My brothers GF needs to buy some fullbike leathers, 2 piece. She is very skinny and they are having difficulty finding them.

So my question to you is where can they buy them in the south east london area, northish kent.

They want to spend around £200-£250.

You could try J&S in Greenwich, or if you’re willing to travel to North London you could try GirsBike2, which is up near Archway. :slight_smile:

I think with that budget, ebay is your best bet. Might be worth trying child sizes if she’s not tall.

Girls Bike 2 are excellent. Alterations can then be done by some lovely woman called Samm, aka, WASP! :wink:

I think a trip to GirlsBike2 in Dorking is very much in order. They have loads of stock and will happily spend a lot of time helping her try stuff on and will order other stuff if needed. have been in there with Jackie loads of times and have always been impressed.

If you can get her correct size i may have some secondhand leathers that fit…as i have far to many leathers in me workshop am sure we could sort her out:D

It is worth noting that ebay is an almost inexhaustible source of almost new, top quality leathers for us women on account of the vast number of sisters bribed by their man with fancy gear into trying the pillion seat … who then decide once is more than enough!

If only they’d tried the front seat.

Girlsbike2 are also in Archway…not good for parking though, bikes are ok.

I got my leather trousers from George White, and the jacket from ebay. Then got WASP to change the zips etc…

Does anyone know if they do anything in extra long? I always have to buy mens stuff to get the length but it never really fits quite right …

They don’t - and it drives me nuts, too. Apparently no woman is taller than 5’8".

The only leathers for women that I have found to be made with a taller fit in mind are Shoei - which are no longer imported, but are top quality and can sometimes be found on ebay.

GirlsBike2 commission their own products where they know there is an unmet demand. Even if they don’t have what you want, if you talk to them about your requirments it will encourage them to pressure the manufacturers to produce something in future.
