Oh wow, what wonderful pictures!
I think that’s the best set of rideout photos I’ve ever seen.
Hope you’re continuing to have a great time, Martin, and have a safe ride home.
Amazing looks like such fun.
Woke up, and the weather gods were making up for giving me such fantastic conditions the day before.
Took a wee ferry over to Skye
The smaller roads up to Uig
And then over to Uist to get to Eriskay
Before then heading up in the bad weather to the hostel.
The next day…
The plan was to overnight in Berneray, but saw the weather that morning and stayed! I’m now on my third unplanned day Will likely head to Lewis tomorrow.
Another awesome set of photos Martin, very nice
Awesome indeed, inspiring stuff!
Lovely
Fabulous pictures Martin - what are you using to take the photos on the move? Looks like you’re getting the whole gamut of Scottish weather too!
Wow! Stunning photos…
the 4th from last is a thing of beauty
These should be on the Visit Scotland website…
I’ve only one camera with me, an OM-D that hangs around my neck. You’ll notice a lack of left hands in the photos - spot the technique in the mirrors!
100% jealous.
Fan-bloody-tastic photos, mate. Looks like an amazing trip
I hate you. Claire.
Ahhhhh Martin that looks amazing!
Glad you enjoyed the road I told you about. Would be really interested to see your route marked out on a map - perhaps you could knock it up when you get back? The applecross road looks incredible! I’ve got a week off at the end of May and I will probably be heading up that way…
Ride safe!
Legend… have a few whiskies for us… But just so you know, we’ve had glorious sunshine here!
Bet that made you feel jealous, eh?
Hahaha, true, what a sweet illusion
When in Lewis if you happen across any part complete chess sets laying around …
So I stayed on the island of Berneray for four nights. On my last full day I set myself a challenge to go explore Valley island - access is tidal for two miles across the sand/shallows, and there are no roads once there. Just some derelict houses.
Why does your motorcycle keep falling over :ermm:
just having a doze in the sun
