The May club night, Thursday the 28th, at the Hailwood Suite at Brands Hatch, is looking to be a very popular evening – come along to meet Lois Pryce in person. Lois has one big passion in life Motorcycles. In 2003 at the age of 29 she gave up her safe job at the BBC; left behind the cosy comforts of her houseboat in London to travel the length of the Americas. Lois was a woman verging on insanity with a motorcycle verging on dangerous she travelled unaided the 20,000 miles from the tip of Alaska to the tip of South America and in doing so she had the makings of an inspiring adventure. Since then she has travelled 10,000 miles through Africa a journey that is featured in her second book Red tape and White knuckles . If you have ever had an eccentric idea of doing something seemingly crazy, and yet haven’t picked up the courage to do it then read her books Lois on the Loose and Red Tape and White Knuckles ; both books have been reviewed in Riders Magazine (KAMG’s club mag).
