http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7620507.stmDon’t even get me started on the RSPCA!
I swa the said documentary and it does look like the kennel club dont want to see wots going on with some of these so called pedigree dogs, probably more inbred than anything else.
I’m waiting to see “Pedigree dogs lodge claim against the Kennel Club.”
They’re the No. 1 cause of inbreading. It’s they that set the “standards” that the unscrupulous breaders try to achieve.
what’s wrong with the RSPCA?
No!..
Must…
Not…
Answer!
Cough … Cough … Cough!
It seems a bit twisted to deliberately breed dogs with squashed up faces (so they can’t breathe) or extra short legs (which result in arthiritic problems etc). I understand that in the past dogs were bred into certain shapes/tempraments for certain tasks - but doing it for purely aesthetic reasons is a bit dodgy.
And who sets the aesthetics standards? The Kennel Club.
Now what’s that expression about pots, kettle and black? Or the other one about glass houses and stones?
