Does anyone know what the diffeerence is between a B1 or a B2 ZX900 Ninja.
I am looking for one and have found 2 on auto trader one is an M reg BI 1994 The other is an M reg 1995 B2 both are similar money.
also,what should I be looking for on a bike of this age.one of these is advertised private,thr other is a dealer.

dont buy a b model,they are to heavy blow head gaskets,
save a bit more money and buy a c1-c2 model much,much better bike,i had 1 fantastic bike

Are your comments regarding the B series from experience or hear say ?
I have a limit of £1500 and thats it…no more available.
I had a B series which my husband previously owned and we had it from new until a few years ago, I personally loved it but sold it as it wasn’t used that much, I had no problems with it at all.
The first B models were known to have “dodgy” handling, evil was another word often used…most C series owners seem very happy, heavy but fast, they are popular roadbikes.
Buy one of these mothers. I part ex’d my 51 plate zx9. Its the best thing i did. Go to the bank and get a loan. Better still you can get interest free credit from kawasaki on the zx10 and you get free akraprovic’s with the new model.
