Kaisar XTR 125 - Advice

Firstly, hey all! had to make a new membership but 1 or 2 years ago i was on here, njs71’s nephew for any that remember

Right, i would like some advice asap please.
Me and my uncle have seen a few foreign bikes being sold lately, and were not sure if it is because there is a problem with them or anything like that.
one that i have took a shine to is a Kaisar XTR 125. i have found a 2008 model for £850 ono, 75 miles says good condition.
Now, good condition probably means not dropped or anything but how do these machines run? Any problems mechanically?
Thanks in advance
Liam

Stay away from the cheap crap mate all these chinese things allways go wrong get a good quality bike like a honda or yamaha ect ect just remember the saying you get what you pay for.

Good luck buying your new bike mate

Not the advice i wanted to hear but hey :stuck_out_tongue:
oh well, awesome for telling me mate, ill save my pennys - i get another grand in september so ill wait out till then!!
great advice though, thank you very much… my Yamaha sr 125 1991 will have to keep me going until then i suppose haha.

Cheers for speedy reply too.

Isnt that what was said about Jap bikes during the heyday of the British bike manufacturing?

Just a thought

wouldnt touch a chinese bike, have fun trying to source spare parts

Indeed it was when the “Rice Burners” came to these shores:w00t:Have you any idea where the majority of smaller “Jap” bikes are made these days?

i think some of the better known chinese makes are worth getting ,
like hyosung altho thyre Korean i think

however cheaper ones not on the insurance lists are harder to insure
and mine hasnt held up well seen as ive only done about 750 km
although i didnt have the money to get anything else , and im gunna sell it soon as i pass my test anyway
