I’ve always been worried about the car that the MOTs always find some fault that the mechanics will repair of course, and in the past in my old car a couple have been very petty. Never had that issue in bikes

So I’m tempted by taking it to one of these places… Fairly sure it will pass as it is but wanted to check there wasn’t anything I’m missing? I get they only do MOTs but am I at risked of getting conned in a different way?

worst thing than could happen is that it fails. you get whatever needs to be fixed done by your choice of mechanic and you return for the free retest

True… That’s what i thought but I’m always cautious of things that look too good
