How many people on here give blood?
I do because there is the chance i may be needing it back one day with the fact of my job but doubley because of my biking
i do to,
it is a good idea from health reasons for males, as our blood doesnt regenerate once a month (like women)

yeah but wasnt there some ludicrous report that stated that men that had sex with other men were not allowed to give blood, but if you were gay and had not had sex with another male you could donate blood?
Yeah thats right. but its the same with women i think… If a woman was to admit she has had sex the back way - then she also would not be allowed to give blood… !!! :hehe:

well i think it is a bit silly really, whats to say if you went for regular sti and hiv checks, if you were given the all clear and could provide proof of this that you shouldnt be able to donate.
Well dont forget the good old - if you are having regluar STI tests that can go againstyou on a medical! (it is meant to mean you are having unsafe sex - which shows you do not look after yourself) not good if yuo want a mortgage! :unsure:
