I did read it but what made it loose power.
The BIG fuse blown, but why? now battery not charging…
Now going to get comfort food!

Hmm basically, bike died today in London (total loss of power) called AA out to get me going, found main 30amp fuse blown, replaced and bike fired up, but then no charge going to the battery - must be alternator or rectifier? suggestions please…
Hi folks that were in Infinity!!!
Rectifier sounds possible, similar thing happened to me a couple of weeks ago. RAC had to charge up my battery 3 times in 6 miles to get me home! Rectifier fault had caused battery to overcharge and blown the fuse in the charging circuit.

Captain I do believe the root cause of your problems are those cans you got on, as a helpfull LB’r and in the interest of science I will gladly swap them for the standard cans on my 'bird to get you outta your predicament :)
