Just saying hello

Hi guys

Looks like im a convert to your way of thinking im swapping my 99 blade for a very low miles ccm. Its a weird one basically a dualsport but with 3 different sets of bodywork, the RS, the R30 and the DS stuff. Its a 640cc rotax engine and amongst the spares are the high lift cams you get for these engines and various other bits and bobs.

Im fairly excited ive basically got bored of having to get so far out of london to let the blade properly stretch its legs.

I know the ccm is a fairly heavy think but i need to commute on it as well 5 days a week and didnt want the service intervals that come with a more focused moto.

Ill drop a few pictures in next week once i pick it up

Matt

congrats mate and welcome to lb:) once you get your bike pm me if you want to ride some lanes.

Hi Matt!:w00t: Welcome aboard The Good Ship LB! Once you’ve gotten used to the SM you’ll kick yourself for not doing it earlier!

These are just the kind of replys i wanted im still convincing myself ive done the right thing!!

When we say lanes are we talking green lanes? only asking as im itching to go greenlaning again had a KDX200 and a KMX 200 and DT125 etc etc when i was younger and do miss the greenlaning. ill be out hunting for the tightest little roads i can find! (and previously ignored on the blade)

PS a pm will be on its way once the deal is done

if your after green lanes then mr.tattoo is the man to take you as there aint many near us http://londonbikers.com/forums/FindPost570137.aspx

what area you from mate? as sneaky says you’d have wished you had got one sooner:cool:

Im in muswell hill north london.

I think i might go as far as investing in a set of off road wheels for greenlaning but mainly itll be roads that im looking for.

I just want it to be tuesday!! really i should enjoy the last weekend with the blade.

Def be up for some riding though

just remember to keep it locked up as the kids scum love them:angry:

Fair point. Think ill be investing in some extra security!

Welcome to the fold… Bridge jumping, mono wheeling and ofcourse kicking sportbike a$$ on the twisties is what supermoto is all about  Not that i do any of that on mine ofcourse

What, you couldn’t do that on y’blade? You wouldn’t have been the first to take their sports bike Greenlaning on The BCR!

I sold my last sports bike, which was also a Blade about eight or nine years ago. Been riding KTM’s ever since. You won’t regret it.

Oh well!:stuck_out_tongue:
