Just popped in to say HAY

Hi Foolks, I ride bikes for quite some years now and commute in the region London. My job brings me abroad a lot and while away I like to check out your forum to stay updated on what’s going on in and around London. When home I normally have my Sunday brekkie at the Ace, so some of you guys I have already met.

Hereby a virtual Toast to all of you, and regarding the Newbies meet; I’ll promise to show up at the first occasion I’m back in town…

My toy? I’m a conventional old git, so I stick to the best selling sportsbike in the UK, a Black Blade…

Hello - welcome to LB

Welcome, Black Blade? Doesnt have 205 BHP by any chance? Lol, ok no more comments about the 205BHP Blade, I promise

hope to ride with you soon!

C’mon; 205BHP? with the mileage I do (3 full tanks a week) I’m glad when I can afford the fuel bill, no need for me to throw money at gimmicks I don’t really use. For doing my 175 mph top I have to pop over to the continent anyway, those roads here in the UK are lethal at normal topspeed…

Haha there are some roads where I live that are lethal at about 20mph!

Welcome dude…

I’ve been thinking of going the stealth route with my R1…Jet black with minimal stickers…yummm

Afro, go for it man, its the way forward, just remember noone can see you, so some bright ass UFO neons or LEDs are needed, lol

Hey Kapso, welcome to LB! Post up a picture of your blade!

Hmmm…Where can I buy some custom leds mate?

Hi, welcome to LB

Hiya and welcome, Kapso…

Don’t be fooled guys ‘n’ gals… What Kapso, this insane, world-travelling lunatic did NOT tell you, is the commute that is Kapso’s daily ride - 110 miles a day! (obviously, when Kapso is in this country working normally) and for this chore Kapso uses the best bike for the job; a 900 Diversion… You have to admire the wiseness of that choice for all-year round, daily transport… (ok, ok, so I got one too for DRing and CBTing…) as neither of us own a car, I’m happy to say…

Oh, here is the ‘other’ bike in Kapso’s two bike collection… the Black Blade (is there any better kind? No, of course not - black ones are best. EVERYBODY knows that…)

Hey afro, I bought some off Ebay for my last bike, pretty decent, had a remote for on/off, flash/constant and to change colours, it looked the nuts at night, especially on a stealth bike.

But one of the Ruff Ryder members from Amsterdam has found some leds that are brighter and better quality with the same controls, and change into multi colours, 10 i believe, for the same price, check the pic:

Cheers Toast,

Thanks for posting the piccie of my Toy, my joy and pride…

And yes, I do own more than one bike, but I did not deem it appropriate to start boosting as a multi-vehicle owner the moment I introduced myself as a Newby…

But why the heck I deserve to be addressed as an insane lunatic, I really don’t know. Hereby I honestly declare that I am a very law-obedient, decent, moderate, calm, friendly, non-abusive motorist… And I really, seriously really never ever annoy or diss any proper car-driver. ( not talking about mobile/text phone or Nav-sat using 4x4 drivers with more interest in their silly gadgets and screaming kids with DVD players in their passenger seats, apart from the nail polishing, make-up smearing binge-drinking fake blondes, BMW drivers and any other not fit for part-taking in traffic D**kheads…)

Hello there…

poke poke : with the newbie stick

AJ!

Welcome to LB

Hello and welcome

Thank you all for your warm welcomes…

I had a look at the calendar with Newbies meets, but am afraid that I’ll have to miss out on those, coming months. I’ll have to do with once in a while the Sunday at Ace, will have my brunch there today, before packing my kit bag again to take the next airbus westbound…

So maybe I’ll see some of you today, when not, enjoy your Ride!

welcome again!!!

welcome to the site mate
