Just been out in that...

Good lord, what terrible weather. I went out for a ride to the shops, and a cloud burst right above my head, with the wind gusting so hard I found myself suddenly on the wrong side of the road!

All I can say is that the Bikers Gore-tex jacket is the best investment I ever made for biking ;-). Home now, and dry as a bone…

glad you made it home

im still wearing leathers with the rainsuit over the top…soon as i get a job i’ll be buying some goretex textiles…and obs using LB for whats the best and value for money etc

It’s very strange in southwark, one minute it’s fine then suddenly it’s horizontal sheets of rain flying towards you at 50mph.

It’s days like this that make me glad I have an office to hide in when it gets properly grim out on site.

Its days like this I am glad my office moves around the site with me

Meh, standard Frank Thomas leathers and Hein Gericke leather gloves and old leaky boots, came out of it with puddles in my boots and at one point going from West Drayton to Marlow, could see about 2 metres in front of me due to rain and wind, saw loads of puddles with cars just sitting at them, all looked at me a bit weird as I went through them lol

Puddles are less fun … My pipes are wrapped so soak up water then when you stop you get more steam than yer average bear  This fugs up the visor open or closed .
