The University of East London is a dynamic and rapidly expanding university at the heart of Europe’s largest regeneration area and immediately adjacent to the site of the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
We are seeking an innovative team member for this new position within UELSports to facilitate, direct and manage a range of physical activity and sports event opportunities to our students, staff and wider community. You will also play a key role in the successful operation and programming of the new £20 million SportsDock facility at our Docklands campus (due to open in early 2012), home of the US Olympic team during the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic games.
Educated to A level standard or equivalent, degree desirable (ideally sport related), you will have experience of successfully organising physical activities for diverse groups of people alongside the management of sports events. Excellent organisational, communication and IT skills are essential.
