Research Now (online market research specialists) are looking for an enthusiastic, bright and capable Client Development Managerto join the sales team as the Client Development Team expands in London. We are looking for candidates with sales experience that are able to initiate and develop client accounts through a consultative approach. The successful candidate needs to be able to communicate effectively and be a proactive, highly motivated and flexible team player. Knowledge of the market research industry is not a pre-requisite but the ability to learn quickly about a fast growing industry, make new contacts and advise clients in a consultative way is essential. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales and you should be interested in building and maintaining client relationships among a small number of key clients.Through the development of expert industry knowledge and strong client relationships your role will be to offer insightful and strategic solutions to business objectives and communicating the benefits and enhancements of the products and services on offer.Required skills/ attributes/ experience: Successful track record in sales, and in particular new business, ideally within a consultative environmentStrong academic background (2.1 or above)An understanding of the online market research industry would be preferable but is not essentialVery good written English and numeracy skillsStrong organisational skills – with the ability to manage your time effectively and prioritise tasks to meet a range of tight deadlinesGood attention to detail and presentationAbility to communicate effectively to both internal and external stakeholdersProactive, motivated and flexible team player who is keen to work in a stimulating, ever changing environment, and thrive on the opportunities that this can bring Responsibilities Include:As Client Development Manger your main responsibilities will be split between new business development and account management within a defined territory.Your day-to-day tasks will be:making new contacts in a fast growing industry;preparing a wide range of written proposals;dealing with client requests in terms of feasibility checks;preparing full costing quotations;preparing sales information for meetings with new and existing clients;following up client requests and queries on Research Now’s online panel servicesGenerating revenue consistently. Client Development Managers are also responsible for leading junior executives in sales and account management.
