Setting off in the morning for our annual trip to Norway. Ferry from Newcastle to Bergen then six days hard riding to Nordkapp. Reindeer and Elk are on the roadkill list, so we have secreted away our skinning knives.
We hope to be dubbed with a dried walrus penis at the Royal and Ancient Polar Bear Society`s headquarters in Hammerfest.
Bye chaps and chapesses, back here in two weeks with lots of photos of dried fish.

Sounds like a great trip. Just make sure the Walrus is no longer attached to his penis before you try doing anything – they are apparently highly amorous and forceful b*ggers!

Make sure you pop along to the legendary hotdog hut near the corner of Kong Oscars Gate and Hollendergaten near the waterfront in Bergen.
I love Norway and try to get there as often as I can. Nice road with switchbacks from Voss to Granvin (E13), where these fall are.
One of my favourite routes is the E16 out of Bergen to Voss, then the E13 to Granvin, onto the E7 and over the ferry to Eidfjord and beyond. Heaven on wheels.
