I can only comment on my experiences
I jet wash the whole bike mostly in the winter
In the summer it’s not that often
I go through two chains and sprockets sets a year
Scotoilers in my option are ok if you can get one fitted to your bike
I can’t so I oil my chain myself twice a week
Once after a full wash
Then midweek I just oil the chain

When you say Jet wash the bike…do you explicitly jet wash the chain very closely, big difference there.
