Down Commercial Road near Whitechapel you can find shops selling biltong, the SA version of jerky. No idea what it’s like though. Very popular with ex-pat Sarf Africans, apparently.
Sainsbury’s do it! I think it’s about a £1or2, comes in traditinal or peppered, prefer the traditional myself, peppered a little to hot for me, you should find it in the same area as the crisps and nachos, fantastic with a beer or two.
JERKY IS CHEAP IMMITATION BILTONG MADE BY THE SAME IDIOTS WHO TRIED TO IMITATE RUGBY AND CAME UP WITH AMERICAN FOOTBALL, WHO COULDNT UNDERSTAND CRICKET N CAME UP WITH BASEBALL!!!
Braaivleis, biltong, sunny skies and Chevrolet :Whistling: OMG how old am I :w00t:
BILTONG is definately the way to go. Down DeVeiliers Str just off Trafalgar Square and next to CX Station little SA shop there that has some yummy stuff.
