What, in the frame?
So the whole frame has to conform to petrol storage construction specs… that must havae weight/strength downsides surely…?
Skip last… I saw the top of the brake reservoir DUH… see it now…
Beautiful piece of engineering the NSR500 but Honda got caught out with their new designed under engine fuel tank. It lowered the centre of gavity too much and effected the grip in and out of the turns (lack of weight transfer which you need for grip)
I’ll never forget Freddie Spencer wrestling with it but the following year in 1985 he won the GP 500 title and just for good measure the 250 GP title as well…I ver much doubt that will ever be done again.
