hmm they are about quite often if you watch the skys, venus one of the brightest of all celestial objects as it is so close, Jupiter because it is so big…still cant beat a full moon
Agree I’ve got this telescope which I’ve seen the craters of the moon… amazing
I’m going to go home and pull it out… see if I can see anything close up to Venus or/and Jupiter
ahh but last night was a very rare occurrance where you could see Jupiter, venus and the moon very close to each other, with venus being eclipsed by the moon at about 7-30pm.
You’ll never get the chance to see that in your lifetime again. Unfortunately I didnt see it, as it was cloudy. Meh.
Tis true for sure…didnt know about the eclipse, lost my way since the accident and have not kept myself up to date…the eclipse must have been very rare but must have been a bit of a non event as the effect must have been nil…but still rare indeed…seeing all three together isnt so rare but still and event…we had clear skys last night and tonight apparently…
I missed it, didn’t even know about it until it was too late
2strokes, please dont feel like i cut you down mate, you are an inspiration to us all, and frankly, more interesting than some pathetic venus/saturn eclipse. GWS moosh.
trying to stop myself from spouting some form of Uranus joke…
:pinch:
massive black hole spotted dead centre of Uranus…
pulling 2 moons apart
…i’ll get my coat
